Mary A Whelan Fox’s School of Elocution, Speech and Drama opened in April 2006 due to the ever growing demand from parents wishing their children were involved in a drama group who’s focus is on voice and elocution.
Active participation is what I strive for in my speech and drama classes. From the moment they arrive my students are taught to explore, think, sense and experience through the medium of creative drama.
Through my classes I hope to create an environment where the children grow and evolve through participation, working together as a team, listening, children learn by “doing,” being involved. I approach this task, to give of my best, and hopefully instil on the students my love of the theatre, drama and music for generations to come.
All classes take place in excellent secure facilities. I am fully Garda Vetted, have my up to date child protection certificates and have public liability insurance and I am the current chairperson of Speech and Drama Ireland.
